School Induction Programme

The school initiatory programme is a part of B.Ed curriculum. The programme is intended to generate awareness among B.Ed trainees about the school activities. This programme helps the teacher Student to gather information about a particular school and get an overall idea about the day to day activities of the school. It not only provide opportunity for understanding the school environment but also to understand teacher-teacher, teacher-student, and student-student interaction and relationship. In this programme,the teacher trainee work on groups , together with the co-operation of teacher of the school. 

           I accepted M.S.M H.S.S Kayamkulam for the programme. The school is in Alappuzha district. It is an aided school.

The school was established in 1957 and upgraded in 1963. Higher secondary was started on 24-08-1998. This school is under M.S.M management.

We were six student teachers from JBMCTE, who worked as a team to collect all information needed to understand the school environment and the peer discussion made us to feel comfortable. All of my team members were Fully participated in all the four days of initiatory school experience. We hope that the experience and information gained from initiatory school experience will help us in our B.ed course and those moments will remain with us forever. We were sincerely thankful to the principal,teachers, non teaching staff and students of M.S.M H.S.S Kayamkulam for their kind support and guidance for making this experience a real treasure.
